Plant-Based Eating

One of the most powerful steps you can take towards improving your health on various levels is to adopt a plant-based diet.

No, plant-based doesn’t mean vegan. It also doesn’t mean that all you will be eating are fruits and vegetables all day every day. It simply means that you incorporate mostly plant-based foods on a regular basis. 

Not only will adopting this kind of diet give you more energy and make you feel better almost instantly, but you will be working towards preventing long-term chronic illness. 

Here are some of the foods included in a plant-based diet:

  • Fruits

  • Vegetables

  • Tubers (or root vegetables)

  • Whole grains

  • Legumes

Sounds like a good idea but you’re not really sure where to start? I suggest making the transition slowly. Maybe try focusing on plant-based foods one or two days a week OR making one meal per day completely plant-based. Then, you can adapt and add in more plant-based days/meals once you’re ready. Any step in the plant-based direction is a positive one!
